A review:  **5 0f 5 shooting stars!**

I loved this book.  Stephanie rowe seamlessly weaves the past and the present into this wonderful new urban fantasy series.  There is no need for a lengthy prologue that often gets too bogged down in the details of the past and potentially makes me crazy, but she feeds you the back story in bits when it is important to know it.

I am a voracious reader; rarely do i find a book that so captivates my attention, that makes me laugh out loud, and cry when things look bad. And the sex, wow! It took my breath away. The author keeps the tension high from page one.  The pace kept me on the edge of my seat, and turning the pages. I did not want to put this book down.

This is the story of quinn the immortal warrior, who will do anything to save the world and grace a woman who will do anything to save her kidnapped sister. These characters are so well developed that i felt like i actually knew them, their strengths and weaknesses. And their willingness to overcome their history,  each has a separate agenda, but gets it together enough to help each other achieve their individual goals.  I could put myself in the story and live it. Feel it.

The first “bad guy” i saw i hated immediately.  He was unredeemable. I had such a visceral reaction i actually emailed the author begging her to kill him off.

The secondary characters are also strong and well written. There is enough detail about these characters that the reader gets a good feel for them as well. I hope to see them in future books.

I have read several of ms. Rowe’s immortal bad boy series. Those books are written in a much lighter tone.  I didn’t know what to expect with this story, however, i immediately fell in love with this new, darker world. Ms. Rowe wove a spell that i couldn’t help but fall under.

If you are looking for a great BOOK this one is a must read.  IF YOU HAVEN’T HAD A CHANCE TO DOWNLOAD, DO IT NOW YOU WON’T REGRET IT!
